TraceTracker joins Hälsingestintan successful Ethical Meat Concept when they now start to export the concept outside Sweden. We are very proud to support one of the most innovative meat companies in the world in their quest to provide high quality premium meat, by the highest possible animal welfare standards and opening up their value chain for everybody. Our role is to provide the storytelling and transparency capabilities of the concept, and at the same time securing the brand value.

Broad coverage in Le Monde

 

TraceTracker covers the whole process from farm to consumer. This includes:

 

  • Farm CRM, where all information about the farm, the farmer and his animals are registered. This also makes the foundation for planning and controlling animal ownership. An important first stage in creating a fully transparent and traceable meat chain. To create the necessary level of transparency we crosscheck with all available public registers and we maintain this information also after the animal enters the meat chain. Traceability is also about keeping the whole story.

  • Shipping and receiving events. All shipping and receiving events in the chain are registered in order to both control, manage and visualize the flow of goods. This in turn creates a visual transparency which also show where products have been transported. Important attributes are captured in some of these events, adding more information for decision support regarding quality aspects. 

  • Cutting and packaging department Traceability Support. This, maybe the most critical traceability, process in the meat chain must have support systems that ensures that all pieces in the cutting process are counted for and labelled with the unique (serialized) number that holds the key to the whole story.  

  • Consumer engagement. By scanning the QR-code on the packages the consumer (or chef or butcher or shopkeeper) gets the whole story of the product, showing origin, animal ID and gives transparency by showing the actual chain of events regarding the product. 

 

All solutions are "born mobile", by this very easy to use and to scale, distributed on Google Play.
