TraceTracker provides comprehensive traceability services to the Pharmaceutical and Food industries In partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, TraceTracker will power anti-counterfeit, traceability, consumer engagement and analytics components for the service Oslo, April 11, 2016. TraceTracker, a leading software provider for global traceability solutions today announced that the company, will leverage the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Product Authentication Service (GPAS) to power the anti-counterfeit, traceability, consumer engagement and analytics components of their service.

TraceTracker offers the Traceability Information eXchange (TIX) – an online, decentralized exchange of traceability information between independent players along the entire value chains, based on the GS1 EPCIS-standard. Connectivity to TIX enables the industry to comply with international traceability demands and to make traceability a competitive advantage leaving the consumer with every reason to trust the products he or she consumes. EPCIS is the global GS1 Standard for creating and sharing visibility event data both within and across enterprises, to enable users to gain a shared view of physical or digital objects within a relevant business context.

“Consumers are losing trust in the global food and pharmaceutical industries as tampered or counterfeit products hit the two key items consumers cannot live without: food and medicine,” said Viktor Varan, CEO of TraceTracker. “The origin of these items, their integrity and authenticity, is becoming more and more a demand from consumers all over the world. They both share and care about what they are consuming.

In GPAS we found a perfect match for TraceTracker.” “The global reach and strong capabilities in authentication, traceability and analytics makes HPE technology the ideal fit for TraceTracker,” says Peter Gadd, Director of Cloud Services for HPE. “No other vendor in the marketplace has the capability to provide these sectors with an offering that enables full chain traceability, prevents counterfeiting and protects brand value.”
