TraceTracker announced today the acquisition of Euro Techbridge, a TraceTracker reseller. Founded in 2008, Euro Techbridge offers business development consulting, sales and marketing support for companies in the food sector of emerging markets, utilizing TraceTracker technology. The company has been a reseller of  TraceTracker’s cutting edge technology through two daughter companies called TraceSoft Limited in Kenya and Uganda.

Tracesoft currently has a staff of experts spread across East Africa delivering expert services in traceability, trade support and food safety, including technical implementation support. The company has a number of significant projects across the coffee, fish and pharmaceutical industries. Customers include the Tanzania Coffee Board, Flora Holland, the Kenyan Ministry of Health, the Kenyan Ministry of Fisheries, and the Association for Fish Exporters of Kenya.

“Tracesoft has been one of the most successful re-sellers of TraceTracker’s technology and we look forward to working together on upcoming opportunities,” said Jan Morritz Olsson, General Manager at TraceTracker. “With one foot in the developing world and one foot in the developed world we are in a unique position to provide our services along entire supply chains, thus increasing the overall benefits for our customers.”

“This new, closer relationship with TraceTracker cements our position as a preeminent technology supplier and consultant,” said Rosemary Amondi, managing director of TraceSoft.
